Author Profile
| Perri O?Shaughnessy
An homage to Perry Mason, Perri O?Shaughnessy is the pen name of sisters Pamela and Mary O?Shaughnessy. Pam and Mary attribute their love of storytelling, writing and mysteries to their parents. Their father, Roger, was a genial Irishman with a touch of blarney. Influenced by the novels of Ian Fleming, he liked to joke that he was a spy. Their mother, Helen, a family lawyer, devoured stacks of mysteries and, together with her husband, later began an unpublished novel. As children, Pam and Mary moved around a lot and were insatiable readers. They began writing together in 1993, publishing a book a year from 1995?s Motion to Suppress on, but their very first novel sat gathering dust until 2008. Published as Show No Fear, it takes readers back to Nina Reilly?s first ever case. The sisters currently live an hour away from each other?and they?re as close as ever. Titles by This Author
