"I''m a risk taker," says Mary B. Morrison, the author of SOUL MATES DISSIPATE. It WAS With this spirit that she decided to self-publish the novel. "I wrote evenings and weekends for four months, but I didn''t want to send it out to be judged. I wanted to prove it was a good book so that publishers could come to me." On her own, she sold over 11,000 copies. "Selling the book [to a major publisher] was exciting. My long term vision was not to continue to self-publish but to [break-through]." Her new career is a dream come true.
